Curriculum Vitae ...

I am currently employed at Inmite - a high-tech company that develops smart web applications and mobile clients for the smart phones.

Previously, I was employed as a software engineer at Sun Microsystems, where I participated in the NetBeans IDE project, mainly as a QE. However, I also contributed in the code base by fixing smaller issues and implementing Kenai integration related functionality.

I am still keen on learning new things and on acquiring a knowledge of new technologies and IT trends. Besides the employment, I am still a student of the master programme "Software Engineering" at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Charles University in Prague. Except for the theoretical background every student at the faculty has to absorb, I actively worked on improving my practical skills - see for yourself

I am also actively interested in how education process works so that I am able to participate in improving it.

Namely, I wrote several unit and functional tests for various modules (Kenai, VCS, Mobility, ...), I performed manual testing and I submitted issues in the issue tracker. Besides that, I wrote many blog posts at the company blog and I regularly replied on the NetBeans users mailing lists. I also contributed in the code-base, mainly to the Kenai integration modules (I tweaked chat, wrote the Kenai project details component, integrated Kenai service in the NetBeans project pop-up menu,...).
  • Teaching Assistant at the Charles University, 10/2008 - 01/2010
I lectured laboratory classes for the subjects Programming I and Programming II. Subjects were aimed at explaining the basics of algorithmization and data structures to the first grade students. Both subjects are mandatory.
  • PHP Coder for iKup.cz, 04/2006 - 04/2007
